Where do you draw the line between contemporary review and retro review? While Sega Master System games got magazine reviews as late as 1998, that doesn't stop them from appearing in magazines today. Gaming magazines still exist today and still have games reviewed in them, such as PC Gamer. I guess magazines that review games some years after their time of release counts of contemporary, but if its 10 years later, by which time newer consoles and hardware are in the current market, that counts as retro.
