For the PES series, we're missing a few games and credits from several of the games.

Missing games:

  • PES 2008 for the NDS. According to the same Wiki article, the Wii version is quite different from the other console versions and should probably be its own entry.
  • PES 2013 for the 3DS. We currently have this version merged with the other releases, but we have separate 3DS entries for both 2011 & 2012.
  • Only PES 2012 for PSP has its own entry. Are the other PSP versions close enough to warrant being grouped together? Missing credits:
  • 3DS Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 3D
  • 3DS Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D
  • PSP PES 2012
  • DS Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007
  • Pro Evolution Soccer: Management
  • World Soccer: Winning Eleven 6 International (the on-file PS2 credits are just the Konami Europe production credits) Edit: Thanks リカルド・フィリペ for adding the credits for Goal Storm & WE6 (PS version).

So Goal Storm (US) was released in 1995 or 1996? Title screen, back cover, and Wikipedia have 1995. English wiki has December 22, 1995 while the Italian wiki has Giugno 1995.

Good question. The English Wiki actually lists both 1996 (which they source to MG) and the Dec 22, 1995 date which they don't source. IGN reviewed the game on Nov 25, 1996 which would seem like a late review for a game coming out a year earlier. The stated release date in the article is Jan 1, 1996 which would seem to only signify the year (with day/month just being filled with the lowest values). We also have 2 German reviews listed with early publication dates (Nov '95 & Jan '96). These were both submitted by Patrick Bregger so perhaps he can shed some light on the EU date?

The GDR site lists March 15, 1996 for the JP release (ワールドサッカー ウイニングイレブン). So was Goal Storm initially developed as a follow-up to J. League Jikkyō Winning Eleven for Western markets and World Soccer Winning Eleven was then based on that version? I have no idea.

Gamepro (US) reviewed Goal Storm in its March 1996 issue. Also reviewed in the March 1996 issue of EGM.

    Boring trivia:

    J. League Jikkyō Winning Eleven and Goal Storm share the same intro movie, title screen, special codes (not sure yet), and gameplay. The only differences are... the game modes and teams.

World Soccer Winning Eleven has a different opening/demo movie, title screen, and maybe the gameplay/graphics are slightly better. The game modes are similar to Goal Storm.

P.S. Played this game a lot, back in the day. And I dislike when ppl upload videos with incomplete credits.

That's interesting. So it would seem like Goal Storm was the international version of J. League Jikkyō Winning Eleven. Though looking at the Wiki page page for J. League it would seem like it's missing the All Stars Exhibition & Master Championship.

Also PS2 versions for everything up to PES 2014 (which was the last West-released game for the console), and the J2ME versions. Plus, someone must split the last-gen versions of 2015/2016/2017 alongside the Windows version, as the PC is only allegedly getting the next-gen variant now in PES 2018.
