I'm not so sure that the VIC-20 and Spectrum games are versions of the same game. They're no more similar to each other than to any other Scramble clone. No copyright reference to each other, and nothing else in common that I know of (Moby has no VIC-20 cover, but it's on the Web and it's completely different). Apart form the name of course, it can't be a coincidence... or maybe it is.

Nowadays there's even another Cavern Fighter for Colecovision, a Scramble clone that claims to be a remake of an unreleased Cavern Fighter for MSX, with no claimed relationship with VIC-20 or Spectrum. It seems to be quite a common name for Scramble clones!
