Maybe it's the criteria of the game group that's been left undetailed, but the game does not have an anime adaptation (yet, but the upcoming adaptations are movies, not series). There is an anime that came shortly after this called Persona -trinity soul- and while it does take place in the same world, then the setting, characters and storyline are quite different from the actual game, and there's only a cameo or two that makes the anime series have a relation to Persona 3.
