American covers say "trademark of Rainbow Arts, Inc." on the back, and that has been set as American publisher on MobyGames. But I believe it's a typo of the box and Rainbow Arts, Inc. never existed. Rainbow Arts was a German GmbH and I never saw any reference to an American subsidiary, nor other games referring to this "Inc". The manual back (https://www.mobygames.com/game/black-gold/cover-art/gameCoverId,345312/) of the same edition says "Published by Rainbow Arts GmbH"

You´re most likely right! In Germany we don´t have "Inc." in Company names. Also "Black Gold" is currently the only game listed for Rainbow Arts, Inc.
