Sryth has only one developer. His name is under every page, so it's pretty much everywhere. I'd like to add him to credits, but the game has no manual or "about" section that gives any details about the man behind the game.
Can I add him nevertheless? And if so, how should I label him? He prefers to be called GM, but this title doesn't appear anywhere in the game as far as I know.

In cases like that, I'd usually write the role as "By" and assign it as programming. That kind of situation is common enough in old games that just list the author's name somewhere, possibly in the copyright line, but not as 'credits'.
