Should there be a page for the System 16 version found on Sega Ages 2500: Vol.33 - Fantasy Zone: Complete Collection, or should there be one only for the 3DS version?

If it was never released separately from its compilation appearance it doesn't get its own game entry.

That may be the case for the PS2 compilation, but the 3DS version was released separately before Sega 3D Classics Collection was released. Here's the official Nintendo page: https://www.nintendo.com/en-gb/Games/Nintendo-3DS-download-software/3D-Fantasy-Zone-II--984116.html

That game is listed here, right?

Remakes get their own game entry but enhanced ports usually don't, so it basically comes down on how it's classified. Cursory glance says remake but need to do more research.

There are two different versions of Fantasy Zone II on the 3DS. The Master System version is exclusive to the Sega 3D Classics Collection with the title unchanged. 3D Fantasy Zone II W is based on the System 16 version that was released on the Nintendo 3DS eShop before being included on the compilation. The alternate title for the 3DS version on the page is 3D Fantasy Zone II which technically doesn't exist. That should be fixed, but should it be changed to the correct title, or should a new page be created for the 3DS version to separate itself from the Master System version?

3D Fantasy Zone II has been given its own game entry.
