It seems that "Hi-Res Adventure #2: The Wizard and the Princess" a.k.a. "Adventure in Serenia" was released for IMB PC. But at Mobygames the platform DOS is not in the list for this game. So, has this game never been released for DOS or is DOS missing as platform for this game?

It was released for the PC, but not for DOS. It's a self-bootable disk instead, and (for largely historical reasons) MobyGames lists those as "PC Booter". Look and you'll find it there.
