Very great for simple, intense, friendly RvR Team PvP

The Good
The RvR combat. It isn't round-based team pvp. It is realm based. That means a times it can be quiet, when you soak up the beautiful scenery and atmosphere, and then decide to go hunting enemies or organising invasions with friends. Or all of a sudden you have an invasion on your doorstep. It really is all random and unexpected. It isn't like PUBG or Fortnite in that this is a 3rd person top down view game -- and it isn't like the clickfest that is LoL, Dota etc. You really do have to think about every click of every power you use.

The Bad
There is somewhat of a grind. And sometimes in less populated servers, it can be too quiet in war. But overall, it tends to encourage you to go out and create a war. And if you are in a high populated server (for example, the game's base server is Ra, and it is super heavily (over)populated), then the war is largely going on all the time.

The Bottom Line
Fun and simple to get into, really fabulous community (somehow the Europeans + argentinians / non-americans seem to get along better as a whole. More accepting of differences, more willing to work together to achieve objectives and smash the enemy). NOT PAY TO WIN. tired of reading it is pay to win in other reviews. The advantages you get in ites by paying is too small to make a meaningful difference. The advantages tend to be cosmetic, and the items in the shop are quite fun to wear. I think the only thing you may need to consider buying is a mount (which is about USD 5), though free mounts are (rarely) sometimes available at game events.
