Test Drive: Le Mans

Officially licensed by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, organisers of the Le Mans 24 Hour Race, this game brings to life one of the world's most gruelling motor races. To win, you must complete more laps than anyone else in 24 hours. The endurance required, both for driver and vehicle, is incredible.

The time reduction feature condenses a 24-hour race into game time, while you make the most of the pit stop strategies available in order to keep your car on the road. The progressive wear and tear on your car needs watching, as does the weather - a sudden change in conditions could spin you off the track.

Start out with GT2 cars, until you've acquired the skill to take a GT1 car round the Circuit de la Sarthe. All the real-life teams and drivers, every inch of the real track, rendered in detail for the fullest authenticity and the gruelling experience that is the Le Mans 24 hours.
