Command the great expeditions of England, France, Spain or Portugal. Explore the New World with the likes of Cortez and Drake. Found new colonies with eager volunteers from the Old World. Defend your fledgling possessions from raids and invasions. Attack your rivals by sea and by land. Rule the waves with mighty galleons. Guard against internal revolt. Invest in or exploit your colonies as you choose while satisfying the rapacious demands from home (and keeping a little something for yourself, of course). Victory goes to the player with the most territory at the game's end. Historical or random start scenarios with ruthless and cunning computer opponents.
