Amateurish graphics, addictive game play

The Good
The game play is fun and tense, just like a horse should be. The names of the horses are quite funny, I'm still trying to figure out if the horse names are related to the odds (e.g. Does 'One Foot in the Grave' always have rotten odds?) The interface is intuitive. The game play is addictive, and this is the perfect game to play with friends-the more the better.

The Bad
The graphics stink, the horses have very amateurish graphics, their is no AI; you play against yourself or friends.

The Bottom Line
There are six horses in each race, you can look at their record and their odds. You can bet on a horse to: Win (come in first), to Place (come in second), or to Show (come in third). The odds are just that; a horse with rotten odds has a chance to win, but it's not likely. If one horse has odds a little lower or higher than another horse you kind of have to guess which one will Win (or place, or show.) Now, if you bet on a horse with rotten odds to Win, and he does you will get a big payoff. If you bet on horse to Show, but he wins you get no money. It's, like I said, much better with two or more people. Overall, though, recommended
