Dragon Ball Z Buu's Fury takes players through the final third of the Dragon Ball Z story from Goku's journey through the Other World Tournament saga to the Kid Buu saga. In addition to the game's RPG elements, the Dragon Ball Z characters combat enemies in real-time instead of turn-based combat.
During real-time combat, the players can perform powerful combos and use the powers of the Saiyan to defeat enemies. After defeating enemies, the characters collect money and items and level-up when they earn enough points. The characters not only use these Saiyan powers to kick some bad-guy backside, they also use these powers to solve puzzles in the game. What about blocking? Not in this game. Find an enemy and smack him up.
As introduced in Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku II, you gain control of five characters throughout the game: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Goten and Trunks. After a certain point, you also get to control the fusion characters Vegito and Gotenks.
As with most RPGs, make it a point to explore and talk to everyone. You can do some shopping at the convenience store for goods and equip items to your character as you find them.
