Description
CrossFire is a free-to-play online tactical first-person multiplayer shooter. It is played between teams of mercenaries facing each other as two factions: Global Risk and Black List. More than twenty game modes are played, each with their own rules. Examples are regular team deathmatch, elimination, ghost mode, mutation mode, hero mode, escape mode, parkour mode, wave mode, ranked sniper, bombing mode or spy mode. Most modes support a maximum of sixteen players.
There is a persistent progress system where players are promoted through military ranks based on their performance. There is a free currency Game Points (GP) and players can also buy premium and special items with real money. Weapons and appearance can be customized through in-game items.
