Zipper
Description
Zipper is a tactics/puzzle game inspired by isometric games for early home computers like the ZX Spectrum and the MSX. The player controls a samurai invading a castle for revenge, meting it out one samurai at a time. Each turn, the player selects a number of tiles to move in one direction; the player character is able to "zip" to the target instantly, without waiting for his opponent's actions. Enemies can be slain if the player's movements cause him to run past an enemy's side, or to stop immediately in front of them. After the player's turn, the enemies all move simultaneously; if they're able to stop in front of the player character, they cut him down and the game must be start over from the beginning. Turning the Playdate's crank allows the player to preview enemy movements.
