Windows version

A 3D version of Dungeon Crawl

The Good
The Game's graphics, while not spectacularly amazing, are charming in their own right, and are clear and easy on the eyes. The game is very easy to learn, and the controls are simple. There are numerous in-game features that are nifty as well: your pet has an inventory that you can access, as well as skills. Furthermore, your pet doesn't die either, it only flees when seriously injured. Additionally, once you beat the game, you can 'retire' your character, and then start a new character that's a descendant of your previous character. This allows your new character access to one of your old characters items, much like an ancestral heirloom.

The Bad
There's really nothing new here. The game is essentially Dungeon Crawl, Rogue, Ancient Domains of Mystery, etc., on steroids. There's virtually no story here either, just the typical "beat all the randomly generated levels, and then you win" premise.

The Bottom Line
An amusing diversion when you're in the mood for playing something quick, but not too involving.
