(Cue creepy music) Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma must solve the mystery of Spooky Island in this portable Pak inspired by the summer movie of the same name.

Longtime Scooby-Doo games publisher THQ has amply demonstrated that it has got the look, feel and inspired zaniness of the classic TV series down cold, while at the same time pushing the franchise in new directions (see Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase).

For the upcoming game, THQ promises an offbeat combo of action/adventure and combat gameplay. (Sound FX: Screams, whimpers, Scooby's 'Rokay!') Exotic locales in the game will be inspired by actual movie stills and artwork.
