Super Bonk

aka: Chou Genjin, Super B.C. Kid
Moby ID: 28221

SNES version

The best in the Bonk series, and the most surreal platformer Iv'e ever played.

The Good
Okay, there are three things I LOVE about Super Bonk, the graphics are not the best, but still amazing, the soundtrack is best described as incredible, and, the best part? The game play is the standard Bonk style, but it has so many surreal things, you'll be wondering if the game's developers were on a acid trip! Super Bonk takes a tried and true formula, and makes is one of the most unusual gaming experiences you will EVER play. And some people say simplicity is a bad thing....

The Bad
It's too easy. I flew through it in two hours. Adding on to that, there are too many bonus rounds. It's rare that you'll play for five minutes without hitting a bonus flower. Other than that, this is pure platforming bliss.

The Bottom Line
This is a classic formula, so screwed up (In a good way, of course) that it's undeniably one of the most surreal games of all time. Another thing I forgot to mention, the bonus rounds are a blast, even if there's too much of them.

Overall: Graphics:9/10 Sound:10/10 Gameplay:10/10 Fun Factor:9/10 Replay Value:9/10

THE VERDICT IS: 5 out of 5 Bonus Flowers.

The best game in the Bonk platformer series, and the 2nd most enjoyable platformer on the SNES.
