3D RPG set in Ravenloft world

The Good
The character generation screen was very cool. It basically involved a gypsy dealing out tarot cards that describe what race, gender, class your characters are. Very cool. Compared to other RPGs of this 3D-type interface, I'd say Ravenloft has one of the better ones. Movement does not take place in single steps, although there is an option that allows this. Rather, its a smooth 3D panoramic view. There are also other interesting features. For one thing, the automap feature is very nice; you can even label certain parts on the map. And the hidden menu bar is cool: just move the mouse cursor to the top of the screen, and there you have it. The music is superb, and sets the appropriate mood: spooky. Fighting is also simple: you can click on the weapon in hand, or just place the cursor on the enemy and click.

The Bad
When traveling in interior places, like dungeons or caves, the game apparently differentiates between characters in the front and characters in the back. This is annoying, because the characters in the back cannot really fight unless they have 2-Handed or ranged weapons. It's quite annoying to have to switch a character's position/weapons just so they can fight.

The Bottom Line
A very cool RPG similar to Lands of Lore. However, I think it has a better interface, and it's far more easier. Plus, you get to create 2 starting characters.
