Crystal Caverns

The Good
Back in the good old days when I owned an Atari STe I used to buy cheap games from Budgie UK. I got some bad games, some ok games and some very good games. Crystal Caverns belongs to the last kind. The game has good and varying graphics and the controls are very smooth, many full price games had much worse controls.

The Bad
But even the sun has its spots. Crystal Caverns is a hard game and you better draw a map over the dungeon because it's easy to lose track of the way. The biggest drawback is that you only got one life and no continues and to make things worse healing spots are rare.

The Bottom Line
Crystal Caverns is a good but challenging multi-screen platform game. If you are into these kind of games this game will keep you occupied for hours.
