AdventureQuest

AdventureQuest is a massive, online, single-player role playing game targeted for players ages 13 and up. Made with Flash technology, the game is played completely in a browser. No files are downloaded and nothing is installed, so the game can be played from any computer with an Internet browser.

The game takes place in the fantasy world of Lore, where the people wear armor and fight legendary monsters. The world has many towns and secret areas to explore, many quests to complete and interesting characters to meet. Evil beings, monsters and other enemies are everywhere. Those who reach level 121 and higher are added to the game's legends list. The game's story is always evolving with new quests, items and in-game special events added each week.

Like in other role playing games, you will choose a class which defines the abilities and personality of your character. Traditional classes like Fighter, Wizard, Mage and Rogue are available plus some unusual ones like Dracomancer and Vampire Slayer, and players can switch between classes at will. There are hundreds of different weapons and armor, magical spells, potions and objects to find. You can even have a pet. Virtual houses and special equipment are available for z-tokens, the game's secondary currency, which can be obtained in-game and by out-of-game purchase.

The graphics are hand-drawn using vibrant colors with the look of anime. All actions are performed with a click of your mouse.

AdventureQuest is free to play. Special permanent bonus upgrades can be purchased separately such as "Guardian" and "X-Boost" status, the former allowing you to purchase and equip special items, the latter being an upgrade to the former which grants you more experience points in combat. Children must have an adult set up their account.
