The Good
AC/DC Live finally gives AC/DC fans the chance to rock out with some of their favorite AC/DC Songs. The game features such classics as Shook Me All Night Long, Highway To Hell, Back In Black, and other great songs. Also during some songs, before hitting the last note, the game will prompt players to wail on the guitar to get a higher bonus just before the last note, which can lead to some fun moments.

And being a Rock Band title, AC/DC Live is compatible with all of the Rock Band Instruments to create the full band experience of guitar, drums, bass, and vocals.

The Bad
Much like tossing a polar bear a chicken nugget, AC/DC Live simply doesn't have enough content for those looking for a full gaming experience. The game only boasts of 18 songs total (no unlockable songs either) which are all performed live (creating an inferior sound quality). The career mode only consists of playing each song while trying to get a higher score.

Another problem with the game is that the game is not compatible with some controllers. Those who possess the wireless guitar or other instruments from Guitar Hero 5/Band Hero will not be able to use it on AC/DC Live.

The Bottom Line
Much like AC/DC's Fly On The Wall album, Rock Band AC/DC Live simply doesn't have enough content to satisfy. As an expansion pack, the game offers some good AC/DC songs (although this is far from a greatest hits collection). As a stand alone title, the game simply leaves too much to be desired to warrant a stand alone purchase (unless you have the original Rock Band).
