Devil World

Lost in the maze of Devil World, Tamagon the Dragon has to steer clear of the Devil, his nasty Co-Devils, and his treacherous helpers, Medaman the Fried-Eggman and Bon-Bon, and ward off their attacks by breathing fire. After each round, the maze scrolls up, down, right, or left. The Devil decides the direction and points with his finger. As you guide Tamagon through the maze, you also have to avoid being sandwiched between the walls.

In this little-known action game from Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto, you play heroic dragon Tamagon, who must defeat evil by collecting Boa-Boa Dots inside a maze and destroying enemies with his fire breath.

However, keep an eye on the devil at the top of the screen, who instructs his minions to move the maze in random directions, trying to squash Tamagon within its walls.

If this seems familiar, you might have seen the devil performing the same trick as an Assist Trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl!
