Theatre of War 2: Africa 1943
Theatre of War 2 covers the events of 1943 in Tunisia, North Africa. Recovering from their losses after the crushing defeat and subsequent retreat after the Second Battle of El-Alamein, the German Afrika Korps - reinforced and now supported by the Italian Army - prepare once more to put steel against steel with the Allies. The Axis forces, under the command of the legendary General Erwin Rommel, have an all too brief opportunity to seize victory from the clutches of their earlier failures. Players will lead Rommelβs Afrika Korps in their last full-scale military campaign and command the English and American armies as they try to push the Axis forces out of Africa once and for all.

Theatre of War 2 - Packshot and release date announced!

Battlefront.com and 1C Company are excited to announce the official release date for the upcoming tactical World War II title Theatre of War 2: Africa 1943. The game will be available worldwide on April 24 2009, in a simultaneous release by 1C Company in Eastern and Central Europe and by www.battlefront.com for the rest of the world.
The game will cost $45.00 USD and will be available both as digital download and physical copy (DVD with printed manual). Pre-orders will be opened later this month. An English-language demo with a all new original mission (different from the Russian language demo) will be released shortly as well.

Theatre of War 2 covers the events of 1943 during the operations in Tunisia. Players will have the option to lead the German Afrika Korps of Rommel in their last full-scale attack or be at the head of the opposing English and American armies, led by Montgomery and Eisenhower, during 15 missions in three campaigns.
The game presents more than 40 types of different vehicles, new types of units, improved graphics and sound, a new advanced visual system that considers even tiny tactical details such as observation angle or smoke screens, ombatinside buildings and hand-to-hand fighting, a brand new interface, improved soldier AI and a detailed infantry damage system. Special attention is being devoted to multiplayer and user created missions.

Excalibur Publishing Ltd. to release sequel to popular WWII RTS on the UK market
Excalibur Publishing Ltd is set to release βTheatre of War 2: Africa 1943β, a next generation real time strategy WWII battle on February 26. The battle is set in Tunisia in 1943 after the Second Battle of El Alamein.
The German Afrika Korps have finished counting their losses and reinforced by the Italian Army they are preparing to once again battle the Allied Forces. Lead by the legendary General Erwin Rommel the Axis Forces have a small window of opportunity to seize control and go up against the allied forces to secure the sector.
The player will lead Rommelβs Afrika Korps in the final campaign against Eisenhower and Montgomery. Adding to the realism of the game you must control anti-aircraft vehicles and stationary anti-aircraft mounts
