Monster Trucks Nitro

Monster Trucks Nitro is an arcade racing game in which the player gets to race a Monster Truck. While the game is completely in 3D the player cannot steer and so effectively the game takes place on a 2D plane similar to Trials 2 from the same developer. Just like the aforementioned motor racing game the player can shift the weight of the monster truck in mid air to ensure the vehicle lands on all fours again.

Each level has to be finished within a certain time frame. Depending on the time the player sets to get to the finish he or she earns a bronze, silver or gold medal. Obstacles that need to be overcome range from jumps over buses, loopings, gaps, falling rocks, etc.

In the levels the player can collect nitro which can be used to gain a speed boost to bridge larger gaps.
