LOS ANGELES, CA (April 17, 1998) -- Fox Sports Interactive breaks out of the club house and tees off 1998 with a hole in one as it releases, Fox Sports Golf '99. Grab your club and hit the course with an easy to play game designed for the arm chair golfer. Fox Sports Golf '99 will be available in June for the Sony PlayStation and Windows 95 CD-ROM for a suggested retail price of $44.98.

Fox Sports Golf '99 is the next best thing to playing on a real course and costs a lot less too. The game features a true 3D environment with stunning graphical detail and allows the player total freedom of movement anywhere on the course. Gameplay is further enhanced by an adjustable free-floating camera P-O-V, breathtaking fly-bys and walk-throughs, and a precision-based swing meter. The game features a variety of play modes to satisfy any variation of golf desired, including Stroke, Match, Skins, Foursome and Fourball as well as driving range and putting green options and a course editor. Gamers may select commentary by John Walls from Fox Sports Net or the world's most notable and wittiest golf commentator, Peter Alliss.

The Windows 95 CD-ROM version of Fox Sports Golf '99 will feature a total of eight courses, maximized graphics for laptop users, multi-player gaming options via LAN and modem, and supports 3Dfx and other major accelerator cards. The Sony PlayStation version will feature six total courses.
