You can't clock me - I'm the Gingerbread Man!

The summer blockbuster gets small and ornery with this tournament fighter from TDK Mediactive, Inc.The game's six starting characters are Shrek, Princess Fiona, Thelonius, the Big Bad Wolf, Monsieur Hood and Pinocchio. You can unlock three additional characters -- the Gingerbread Man, the Dragon and film villain Lord Farquaad -- but you'll have to defeat each first. Each fighter has three basic moves -- punch, kick and block -- and three special moves. For example, press Left, Down, Right and A to have Shrek belch forth a fireball. Bad manners, sure, but good fightin' strategy.Score 800, 1,500 or 2,000 points during a match to win a power-up that gives you invincibility, a speed boost or doubles your strength. Power-ups are unavailable if your health meter drops below 33 percent. There are three difficulty levels and a Practice Mode in which you get to battle fairy-tale jabronis. The nine arenas include Grimm-ly appropriate settings like dark forests, castles and rickety bridges. If you're a fight fan looking for something a little different you should enjoy Shrek: Fairy Tale FreakDown. However, the lack of a multiplayer option will crimp your ability to live happily ever after.
