Commandos 2: Men of Courage

The Good
The graphics are awesome, very detailed, lifelike. The Commandos are true characters. The gameplay is non-linear and very open.

The Bad
The tutorials could be more sophisticated. The handling could be easier.

The Bottom Line
If You ever wanted to be "in" a movie like "Black Hawk Down", "The Dirty Dozen", "Private Ryan", etc, here is Your chance: Commandos 2 is the WW2 for anyone who likes to plan, use tactics, camouflage, tricks and the knife :) The gameplay is so open that You can really play the missions YOUR way, there is no right or wrong. The characters are very unique with their own strengths and weaknesses, and the missions really benefit from that, because You can achieve Your goals in so many different ways that each player will probably has his own special tactics. The graphics and sounds are very immersive, and after a while You really feel like playing a movie where You determine whats gonna happen next. The difficulty is high, but thats the very soul of Commandos 2: sneak in, fulfill the mission goals and sneak out...and keep Your bunch alive ! If You like games like Splinter Cell, then this one is really for You, if You can live without 3D-graphics.
