Social City

Social City is as the name implies a social game on Facebook. The goal in the game is to found and grow a city. Players can build houses, roads and commercial buildings. Each residential building will generate new inhabitants over time (persistently) which must be collected by the player. Inhabitants function as experience points in this game. Commercial buildings generate produce which is sold for money. When income or inhabitants are not collected by the player no new income will be generated so the player must return promptly. Larger residential buildings allow the player to stay away longer. For commercial buildings the player can select from multiple options which take different amounts of time to complete. Once produce is made the player must also clean the building before a new production cycle can begin.

The player's level determines the amount of commercial buildings that can be build and also unlocks new item types. The player can increase the size of the city's borders to allow for the city to grow further.

The game features a number of social gaming mechanics, including micro-transactions to buy items or increase boundaries for real money, multiple types of currencies and visiting friends.
