Alawar Entertainment releases The Treasures of Montezuma 3 for the PC

Leading casual game publisher Alawar Entertainment today released the third installment in its hugely popular series of match-three adventures, giving players a chance to show off their token-swapping skills in 160 thrilling arcade levels and 42 mind-bending puzzle stages. In The Treasures of Montezuma 3, players journey into the deepest recesses of a forgotten jungle and discover an ancient palace containing 40 locked treasure chests. To release a lock, players must score a certain number of points by matching tokens and collecting the gems they contain. Since players have only one minute to score as many points as possible, they must learn to use power-ups to quickly collect gems and earn more time.

The Treasures of Montezuma 3 features two game modes: Casual and Expert. Casual mode allows players to match tokens at their leisure, while the Expert mode offers a fast-paced match-three challenge. Both modes feature bright and colorful graphics, spectacular animation and explosive audio. What's more, players can earn up to 22 trophies for skilled gameplay.

The Treasures of Montezuma for the PC was the best casual game of 2006, according to iXBT.com.
