Mosby's Confederacy

Mosby's Confederacy is a strategy game set during the American Civil War. In the game, you play John Singleton Mosby who is the leader of Mosby's Raiders, a famous unit on the Confederate side of the war. You perform missions against the Union by assembling a team of men which have various skills and attributes. Some are good marksman, some are stealthy, some are brave, etc. The game has a similar mechanic to games like UFO: Enemy Unknown where your squad gradually get better over time by gaining experience from missions.

The combat in the game takes place during missions which works a bit like a real-time strategy (RTS) game. Here you can select your units and control them in either stealing munitions, horses or capturing Union officers to further your cause. You can also complete storyline missions which further the main campaign.
