VALHALLA™

Winner of the 1984 British Microcomputing Award-GAME OF THE YEAR, and 1984 Computer Trade Association Award-LEISURE PROGRAM OF THE YEAR, welcome to the world of VALHALLA.

A long standing hit in Great Britain and Europe, now available in North America exclusively from Eurosoft, Valhalla takes you where you've never been-TO HELL AND BACK!

As you wander Valhalla, trying to get your bearings and map things out, you will encounter its good and bad gods and goddesses, giants and dwarves, wolves and dragons. On a whim, they may choose to help you or hinder you, or they may simply ignore you altogether, for no character you encounter can be relied on to act predictably.

Each of the thirty six characters in Valhalla has a different personality. As explained in the accompanying book, they vary in degrees of 'goodness' or 'badness'. Deal with them aty your own risk-Thor, good, strong and brave but not very smart; Loki and his goddess Hel, very bad, intelligent and strong; the god, Od, not noted for his strength or bravery but very good and highly intelligent. Choose your allies carefully-they may kill you! And always watch out for Klepto, a smart little dwarf, who wastes no time in stealing anything left lying around. A word of warning-do NOT swear, Mary will get very angry!!!!

The truly innovative manual of Valhalla also comes from its use of revolutionary MOViSOFT technique, which keeps the action going regardless of what you do as a player. Even if you do nothing, the characters will continue to disport themselves as only gods can, eating and drinking on a gargantuan scale, locking in mortal combat with one another, killing and being killed, then magically reappearing, unscathed in another time and place.

MOViSOFT, it makes Valhalla much like a movie in which you script, star, direct and edit. If you haven't experienced it, you really don't know what you're missing.
