Nice PC Platform Action
The Good
This was one of the few platform games for the PC in '97! That alone got my attention. Other draws included the nice graphics and smooth sprites. Some neat effects included a camera that would zoom in and out to cover all of the action, along with a pseudo-3d level style (each level had different 2d layers which were stacked on one another). One of the better ways back then to have some retro-styled fun.
The Bad
Some of the levels got nasty to play, and the game dragged for a while. The game was full of spots in levels where you'd just get stuck. The UI for the game, along with the save game system, didn't feel good either. Hard to tell what was going on. Don't get me started on the load times either...
The Bottom Line
If you can find it in the bargain bin, it's a good way to satisfy your 2d platform urges.
