🕹️ New release: Lunar Lander Beyond

Star Wars Arcade

Moby ID: 7279

SEGA 32X version

Ever wanted to destroy the Death Star? Here's your chance.

The Good
The arcade smash was ported to Sega’s 32X, hell this game alone would be worth the purchase. Particularly now that you can score a 32X for about 20 bucks.

This game is a blast to play! You jump into an X-wing and get ready destroy the death star. The controls are intuitive, not as good as the arcade but the best you can do on a console controller. Firing lasers and proton torpedoes is sweet. Can play two player with one as the pilot and one as the gunner. But I prefer to fly solo, unless you count R2-D2 as someone.

The Graphics are not up to par with the arcade, but they are still good considering. I mean you can tell what everything is and that’s something.

The Star Wars music is here in form. As well as the sound effects. From laser blasts to R2’s robotic screeches, and even some voice, with Admiral Ackbar’s orders.

The Bad
Not as good as the arcade version, but still highly enjoyable.

The Bottom Line
Star Wars fans have to give this one a go. The Rebels need you!
