The Force Is Average In This One

The Good
Star Wars Arcade (1994) is a near perfect adaption of the coin-op arcade game by Sega a year earlier. Fans of the original Star Wars trilogy will enjoy the opportunity to control a X-Wing or a Y-Wing through various levels, including the famous trench run on the Death Star!

The Bad
Star Wars Arcade (1994) has limited reply value because it only has a handful of different missions, 8. The music is strictly average the and game's timer is amazingly cruel.

The Bottom Line
Star Wars Arcade (1994) is a near-perfect translation of the arcade game. The addition of four extra missions was nice, albeit it does little to increase the replay value. Star Wars fans will enjoy the ability to battle the Death Star, but everyone else will probably grow tired of the game in a few hours.
