Kidō Senshi Gundam: Senjō no Kizuna - Portable

Kidō Senshi Gundam: Senjō no Kizuna Portable is a port for the PSP based on REV1.00 of the arcade-title Kidō Senshi Gundam: Senjō no Kizuna.

The main portion of the gameplay has the player pilot one of over forty-eight different Mobile Suits of five different classes, Melee, Short Range, Mid Range, Long Range and Sniper. The two factions represented are the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon, with the battles taking place during the year 0079 Universal Century.

The game modes available are Arcade, Mission and Original Rule.* Arcade imitates the ruleset of the original Arcade release which has 4 vs 4 Mobile Suits compete over various capturable points in an effort to reduce the opposing team's tickets first.

• Mission is a series of missions exclusive to the port, beginning with tutorials explaining the controls and tactics to be used in the game and then expanding into missions requiring you to use specific Mobile Suits to fulfill specific objectives.

• Original Rule is the arcade mode but with the addition of letting the player customize a wide set of variables such as density of radar jamming, the amount of tickets, time limit and more.

As the player plays Arcade or Original Rule they earn experience in the various classes which lets them unlock new Mobile Suits. Players also have the ability to earn specific unlocks from using a specific Mobile Suit repeatedly such as new weapons and altering the performance characteristics of the unit.

The game supports up to 4 vs 4 multiplayer via the PlayStation Portable's Ad Hoc system. Infrastructure multiplayer is not supported.
