Let the Cat in is a puzzle game that revolves around building mechanical contraptions that will guide a ball of yarn and open the door for a cat to enter the house. This involves shelves, ropes, pulleys, rolling devices etc. Players select tools and objects and can then put them at various spots. Afterwards they can often be rotated. When done the process can be launched and if successful the door is opened and the cat comes inside.

The browser and updated Windows version are free, but the Windows version has in-game purchases to buy new cats or to buy costumes for the cats. The iOS version is no longer available and was a commercial release.
