Featuring over 65 of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, Legends of Wrestling II is like the "Who's Who" of wrestling video games. Ageless icons like Hulk Hogan, Rowdy Roddy Piper and Andre the Giant battle it out in the squared circle for wrestling supremacy.

Famous tag-teams of yesteryear return with similar style. Who could forget classic teams like the Nasty Boys, The Road Warriors, Rock-n-Roll Express and more? Little details like character-specific animations and signature theme songs remind you of the good ol' days of professional wrestling.

And where would any worthwhile wrestler be without a loud-mouthed manager to back him up? Don't worry, because Acclaim has also included some of the most famous (and shady) management in the history of wrestling. If you're not impressed with the expansive lineup, you can always create your own grappler thanks to the handy Create-A-Legend mode. Players can choose from hundreds of textures, builds and moves to craft their very own wannabe superstar.

Finally, Nintendo GameCube owners can take their wrestler(s) of choice to worldwide fame and fortune. Following up the success of Legends of Wrestling, Acclaim's sequel brings forth an all-new story line and career modes for lengthy gameplay.

Aside from wrestling mainstays like single and tag-team matches, Legends of Wrestling II also offers eight-man Elimination Bouts and Cage, Battle Royal, Ladder and Table matches. You can live out your wrestling fantasies with just about any type of match-up you can think of.

The actual wrestling itself features the same strategic elements found in the original Legends of Wrestling. Players can punch, kick, block and grapple their opponents into submission. The unique button-timing system requires players to rely more on strategy and well-timed reactions than mindless button mashing.
