Incubation: Time is Running Out

The Good
Everything was done quite well for this game - graphics, sound, voiceovers, the tension evoked by the game. The gameplay, of course, was excellent. It was a bit slow paced and actually quite difficult, but worth the effort.

The story is fairly generic - aliens have invaded and you must rescue the colonists and escape, but it serves the gameplay well.

As you progress, your marines gain skills and stats upgrades and naturally you get better equipment and weapons. It's quite fun configuring your squad to maximize each member's capabilities.

The Bad
Probably the only complaint I have is the difficulty. I've had to replay many missions, and I actually had to cheat to finish the final (though that was the only mission I did it in).

The Bottom Line
Incubation is a fun combination of influences from many other genres - from the general theme of the Aliens movie franchise to gameplay elements such as overwatch of the Warhammer 40k Space Hulk tabletop miniatures and computer games.
