Trial By Fire is a standalone expansion pack for Might & Magic: Heroes VII, in which the Fortress town, led by the Dwarves of Grimheim, makes a return. Two new campaigns have been added, following emperor Ivan and his struggle against the Dwarven war bands nearing the Stag Duchy, and Vilma "Stoneshield" Bjornsdottir, the leader of the Sudgerd Dwarves, while she acts as Ivan's ambassador and attempts to save both of their peoples by exposing the dark situation of her race. New artifacts, abilities and achievements are also available.
