Lightning Fighters is a vertical scrolling shooter arcade video game by Konami. You must guide your ship (aircraft) over 10 stages, destroying waves of enemies.

There are two types of power-ups in the game: a vertical laser, wide and blue, and a fiery serpent-style blaster. The goal is to defeat all the enemies and the bosses, obtaining the highest number of points.

When you finish the 10 levels, the game starts again straight away with harder difficulty.
