The title distinguishes itself as the first racing simulation for the N64 console. F1 Pole Position 64 has the official 1996 Formula One license and features 22 customizable Formula One race cars and drivers, 16 authentic race tracks, changing weather conditions, wireless pit communication and more.

Packed with adrenaline pumping action and speed, racers will encounter real-life challenges including engine trouble, transmission damage, mid-race eliminations and more. F1 Pole Position delivers the ultimate racing experience requiring practice and strategy unneeded in more basic games. From novices to professionals, F1 Pole Position offers multiple levels of difficulty with a wide variety of options to customize the cars to accommodate each circuit.
