MUCH better than its predecessor

The Good
This game had good graphics, sound, and generally decent puzzles. But more importantly, it managed to be just as edgy as the first game in the series (MechaNika) was trying to be, without being so blatantly vulgar, gross, and offensive. This game is actually a prequel to that game, and it's a shame that the developers didn't just start with this one.

The Bad
I would have preferred to have had voice acting, and the puzzles in some cases were not sufficiently clued. There was a hint system, but that is not a substitute for well-designed puzzles. A lot of backtracking was required, and while there was an option to run, the player character had to constantly stop running in order to cross streets, which was annoying. I also experienced multiple crashes playing through Steam and had to restart my computer in order to continue playing.

The Bottom Line
Agatha Knife is a traditional third person point and click adventure that is essentially a satirical take on religion. In a humorous way, it manages to poke fun at the concept of organized religion in general without being offensive. There are also major jabs at veganism, and hardcore meat eating, as well as at many other societal constructs. A very well done satire with the exception of a few puzzles that could have been better clued, and a bit too much walking around.
