Les huit années séparant QIX sur Amiga de sa sortie sur borne d'arcade auront principalement servi à redonner un petit coup de peinture fraiche sur un enrobage qui commençait à dater un peu, ce qui est plutôt bienvenu. On ne peut pas franchement dire que ces améliorations mettent à genoux les capacités graphiques et sonores de l'Amiga, mais cela n'empêche pas ce portage de remplir parfaitement sa mission.
And that makes for taunt nerves. As the working screen shrinks, pulse rates increase. Blood pressure rises. QIX moves frantically while you sidestep and dodge. Maybe there's more to drawing boxes than you thought!
QIX is a fascinating game. It is highly recommended to those who are at one with the universe; to those who are prepared to pursue purposeful strategy in the face of intense action. I do love and hate it so.
