Keystone Kapers

High score rewards

Players who were able to rack up 35,000 points or higher were eligible to receive the "Billy Club" patch from Activision if they sent in photographic evidence of their score to the company. Here is a picture of that patch at AtariAge.

Inspiration

The names of the personages are: Keystone Kelly (Policeman) and Harry Hooligan (Thief) and the game has inspiration in a group of actors of the silent film era called Keystone Kops, so-called because they appeared in films made by the Keystone Studios. They had acted in the movies Keystone Hotel and Fatty and the Broadway Stars.
