The Beast of Lycan Isle

Luna has been summoned by her best friend Tara to an ancient village on remote island. Luna’s expertise is needed to investigate a newly discovered artefact that proves the existence of the Madra Alta, otherwise known as the Wolf Man. However, when Luna arrives she finds not only the locals acting strangely but her best friend missing! All clues lead to an ancient prophecy of destruction. To save her friend Luna must use her wits, find help from a resourceful old lady and draw upon her animal spirit for a climatic showdown with the Wolf King himself.

The Beast of Lycan Isle is a casual adventure game. It is not entirely a hidden object game although it does have hidden object scenes. Hotspots contain either items that can be picked up and stored for later or puzzles that must be finished in order to progress. As Luna you begin with a part of the world map which as you progress will become more and more complete. Ten of Tara’s belongings are scattered throughout the game and can be discovered as the player continues on their quest. A hint system allows some help with puzzles but takes times to recharge so use it sparingly. Puzzles range from hidden object scenes to logic puzzles to matching symbols based on previous information collected. To help with this Luna also carries a journal around with her, which records any hints or tips you may need.
