not a lot of depth, but definitely a lot of fun

The Good
It's fun. Seriously, I never liked flight simulators with too many controls and a 200 page manual for all the nitty details. This is all about hitting dem double deckers with your antique machine gun and feel like Snoopy when he hunts the Red Baron. This is the first flight simulator I actually enjoyed (other than Wing Commander, if you want to count them). Also, good graphics for the time being when most companies still made EGA stuff.

The Bad
Well, as I said: not a lot of details. If you're into that, look for something else. You could cheat really easy too: the game would save your pilot file and log of kills but if you died they'd get erased... so make sure to put your savegame path on a floppy, and when you're biting the dust take the floppy out -> bingo, your pilot survives!

The Bottom Line
Well worth a look. I was sceptical because back then I HATED flight simulators, and I ended up liking it. Doubt you could find it anywhere though.
