Renaissance is a version of the board game Othello where the aim is to change all your opponents counters to your colour or have more counters on the board at the end of the game. To change the colour of your oppositions counters, you place a counter opposite another of your counters vertically, horizontally or diagonally with no set distance. Any opposition counters in between gets changed to your colour. You and the other player takes it in turns until the game has ended and the player with the most counters win.

This version of the game has various options before and during play. You can choose a skill level of the computer (1-9), change colour, make the computer play a counter, take back a move, set the board into various situations and change the skill level. You use the joystick to move a cursor to place a counter.
