MSXPersonal Computer Games (Jan, 1985)
Very original and very enjoyable. The baker is a charming figure, even if he is a little overweight. The raccoons are very nasty, particularly on higher levels where they start jumping up and dodging your very limited supplies of spray. The game is just difficult enough to keep you at it, and certainly had me hooked.

When you have helped so many loaves of bread to the safety of the van, a screen is shown with a picture of a bakers shop, which gives you a rating such as "Yeh" or "Fine". While you sit there wondering what's next, don't bother. I'll tell you, absolutely nothing! Just the same boring stuff with a change of colour. One word sums this up. As baker Joe so rightly says, "UGH". I couldn't agree more.

After hearing the excellent music and seeing the jolly graphics I thought that the game was going to be a really good one. Unfortunately it's bo-o-o-oring, with screen after screen of the same action. It never seems to get much harder either and with extra lives coming thick and fast it's possible to go on for ages before the game ends -- dullsville! Oh well, good graphics and sound maketh not a game, as the ancient Chinese proverb goes . . .
