Only played this game for about an hour, but that was enough to have some stories to tell. Here's one.
I walked into a pub, and I decided to be generous and said that everyone could have drinks on me. Then I changed my mind, and everyone got pissed off at me. I tried to talk my way out of it, but ended up getting my ass kicked and got thrown out of the pub.
Kickass game.

Probably one of the things I really like about the game not available in other RPGs refer to items. Good items are extremely rare and hard to find, which makes you appreciate the items you get. I still remember leaping for joy everytime I found a random ring.
Though I must admit, I don't think I can stomach character creation in classic RPGs anymore (used to spend at least 1-2 hours per character). Lost patience.
[edit] Be sure to visit the dwarven city (or was it the dwarven pub? Well something dwarven). I vaguely remember the music there being excellent.
